International activities

European integration has led to a growing need for knowledge on education and training systems and labour markets in the various member countries. Thus, Céreq carries out research and comparative studies, in association with foreign partners, on key questions such as young people access to employment, continuing training, qualification systems or apprenticeship. It participates in major European funding programmes.

> European surveys

Céreq is responsible for the implementation of the CVTS (Continuing Vocational Training Survey) in France (in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and INSEE). It also provides expertise to European bodies, such as European Commission DGs, Eurostat, ETF or Cedefop.

> International networks

Céreq is a member of the European Network on Regional Labour Market Monitoring (RLMM), and contributes to the European Research Network on Transitions in Youth (TIY). It played a significant role in the consultations on the European Qualification Framework (EQF) and the European Credit system for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET).

> Beyond Europe

Céreq also carries out cooperation projects with Mediterranean, Sub-saharian Africa and South America countries. It collaborates as French pole of expertise with a number of international institutions such as Unesco, the international departments or agencies of its line ministries.
